Will Fish signs new contract for Manchester United

Fish made his professional debut for Manchester United on 23 May 2021 in their final game of the 2020–21 Premier League season against Wolverhampton Wanderers, coming on as a substitute for Daniel James in a 2–1 win.

On 23 July 2021, Stockport County signed Fish on a season-long loan. On 7 January 2022, Manchester United announced that he had been recalled from Stockport. William Thomas Fish is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Premier League club Manchester United. The Manchester-born defender, who has captained England up to Under-19 level, made his first-team debut on the final day of the 2020/21 season in the 2-1 Premier League win against Wolves at Molineux. Fish has agreed a new deal that will keep him at United until at least June 2025, with the option to extend for a further year.In October 2019 Fish scored for the England under-17 team in a defeat against Germany.

On 2 September 2021, Fish made his debut for the England U19s during a 2-0 victory over Italy U19s at St. George's Park. The

centre-back gained valuable experience whilst out on loan at Stockport County, at the start of last season, before returning to United in January and featuring in Premier League 2 and the UEFA Youth League.
