World Cup 2022: Christian Pulisic vows to take on Netherlands in the Round of 16

Despite an injury sustained against Iran during the last group stage match of 2022 FIFA World Cup, Christian Pulisic has vowed to recover before then and take on Netherlands in the Round of 16

After colliding with Alireza Beiranvand, the Iranian goalkeeper in half-time, the 24-year-old Chelsea Chelsea midfielder was replaced. He had headed Sergino Det’s 38-minute-old header into the back corner to give them the qualifying win over Iran.

Pulisic posted a picture on social media, showing himself celebrating victory over Iran while he was still in the hospital. " I’m f**king proud of all my guys! I will be ready Saturday, don’t worry " he wrote.
