Reason For Burnley vs West Ham Betting Tips

Key points Burnley - West Ham

  • West Ham have won seven of their 11 competitive away games this season.
  • Burnley have won just one of their last ten matches.
  • The Hammers have won to nil on seven occasions this season.

Conclusion Burnley - West Ham

Clarets sink to defeat

Burnley’s quest to escape the Premier League relegation zone hit another stumbling block last weekend as they lost to fellow strugglers Newcastle, leaving each of the bottom three sides tied on ten points.

The Clarets have won just one of their last ten matches in all competitions and, while they have proven tough to beat at times this season, defeat to the previously-winless Magpies will have hurt Sean Dyche’s team.

West Ham set for top four battle

West Ham also suffered a loss last time out but that 1-0 reverse against Dinamo Zagreb is hardly representative of their season. Knowing his side had already wrapped up top spot in their Europa League group, David Moyes named a much-changed starting lineup and the Hammers had nothing but pride to play for.

A more representative example of their form at the moment is their stunning 3-2 win over then-leaders Chelsea last weekend, which leaves them fourth in the table and now just six points behind Chelsea.

Back the Hammers to take all three points

They have won seven of their 11 competitive away games this season and look like real top-four contenders under Moyes. They won both meetings with Burnley last season and I’m backing them to get another three points at Turf Moor.
