Conclusion Brentford - Everton

Bees and Everton looking for boosts

Two out of form teams meet in the Premier League on Sunday as Brentford entertain Everton.

The Bees did manage to end a four-game losing run with a point against Newcastle last time out, while Everton are winless in their last six league games with four wins and two draws.

Making a case for either side to claim all three points here is a big ask but the goals markets look a little more promising and both teams to score has a chance.

Both defences looking suspect

Brentford managed three clean sheets in their first six games but have now gone eight games without a shut-out across all competitions. The Bees have at least been scoring and have only failed to score once in their last 10, and that came against a Chelsea side who have the best defensive record in the division.

Brentford have conceded 10 goals in the four games since Alvaro Fernandez has taken over in goal in place of the injured David Raya, and Everton should be able to find a way through on Sunday.

The visitors have also struggled for clean sheets with just one in their last six games, a 0-0 draw with Spurs. The Goodison Park club did draw a blank at Manchester City in their last away game but have only failed to score in two of their eight away games in all competitions and have only kept one clean sheet on their travels too, so both teams to score looks a strong option in this match-up.
