Conclusion Bolton - Burton Albion

Both teams to fire in Monday’s live game

The goals have flown in at both ends for Bolton Wanderers since their return to League One and that trend could well continue when The Trotters host Burton Albion on Monday night.

The international break gives these third tier clubs a chance to shine in front of the Sky Sports cameras and an end to end contest looks likely if Bolton’s opening fixtures are anything to go by.

Ian Evatt’s side drew a blank for the first time this term when losing 1-0 at Cambridge United last weekend, but they hit nine goals in their four previous matches including a pair of 3-3 draws against MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon.

As those results suggest, Bolton’s bold approach leaves them pretty vulnerable at the back and Burton boast enough quality to take advantage. The Brewers aren’t exactly free-scoring, but they’ve managed to net in all but one of their five league games so far and can do so again here.

Jimmy Hasselbaink’s men have also conceded in four of their five outings though, so it’s hard to envisage the visitors keeping Wanderers’ forwards at bay.
